Do you have at least two years direct B2B sales experience and interest in working for an innovative and fast growing company with a friendly, relaxed, and supportive culture? This 30 year established global B2B conference business has a vacancy for an experienced Sales Manager. The role has excellent training and clear career paths, professional development opportunities and the opportunity of international travel.
The role is:
- Sponsorship & exhibition sales manager on a fast-growing conference / exhibition (£2 million+ revenue event)
- Being part of a fast-growing industry leading event that is making the transition to a full-scale trade show
- Managing the sale of top level sponsorship packages with major global companies (£50k+)
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing global clients
- Identifying and capitalising on new opportunities to generate revenue
- Networking with existing and prospective clients at international events
Sales Manager requirements:
- At least two years experience selling directly to B2B clients with a CV that demonstrates you haven't moved around excessively
- Energy industry experience would be beneficial
- Hard working and committed with an excellent phone work ethic
- Ideally (not necessarily) some experience selling event sponsorship on large scale B2B events (exhibitions, trade shows, confex)
- Pro-active, persuasive and confident
- An ability to understand client needs and adopt a tailored approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
