One of the fastest-growing UK travel companies wants to add an innovative PPC Specialist from client or agency side to work alongside the wider marketing team influencing the entire user journey, from click-through to conversion and beyond. The focus will be on driving acquisition, generating enquiries and increasing call volumes.
PPC Specialist role
- Design, launch and manage PPC campaigns across Google Adwords, GDN, Bing, Facebook and others using customer data and best practice
- Report, analyse and interpret data to understand what is impacting performance and how to influence it
- Work closely with the SEO team to improve search initiatives and with the UX designer to develop landing page testing strategies to improve lead generation and telephone calls
- Work with the content team to ensure landing pages are PPC optimised and with the social media team to develop paid campaigns to drive lead generation
- Identify patterns in customer behaviour and segments to exploit for lead generation
- Create attribution models to improve key business metrics
- Reconcile budget spend, analyse click and conversion data and ad expenses
- Manage, test and optimise keywords, ad text, position and landing pages based on campaign performance and continuously optimise campaigns to reach maximum ROI
- Keep up to date with industry knowledge, development, tactics and strategies
PPC Specialist - Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years PPC experience with hands-on bid campaign management and strong knowledge of best practice techniques
- Proficient knowledge of Google Analytics and/or other analytical software
- Demonstrable experience of building and managing successful paid search and paid social campaigns
- Experience or knowledge of lead generation websites
- A genuine interest in digital marketing and the latest trends in digital optimisation including analytics and data-driven approaches
- Care enough to manage the smallest details of a campaign at the deepest levels to maximise conversion rates!
PPC Specialist - Desirable Skills (non-essential)
- Experience in the Travel or Leisure industry
- Knowledge of using CRM data for search campaigns and website A/B split testing
- Website Personalisation (Qubit and/or similar) knowledge or experience
- Conversion Rate Optimisation knowledge, and customer data and segmentation for optimisation purposes
- Understand look-a-like marketing and retargeting (Google Match/Facebook)
- Google 360 suite and Call tracking tools
