I offer a bespoke Search & Select service to companies looking to make mid to senior level appointments in media, marketing, and events. I placed my first board director at a global media business in 1997. Since then I've worked with some of the largest businesses in their sector - UK and overseas, as well as start-ups with less than ten aspiring souls looking for a key mid-manager.
Disappointed with the level of recruitment service I'd experienced as a hiring manager, I started Reilly People in 1993 after a media sales career culminating as Head of Advertising Sales at Kiss FM Radio in London.
My aim was simple: to give the service I'd always wanted when I was hiring, which included a good deal of listening and not wasting the employer's time with inappropriate CVs.
More than twenty-five years later, I use my experience to focus on mid to senior level executive search for my clients, some of whom have been with me for more than a decade.
I've seen plenty of change in my time but the fundamentals remain the same: listen to what the employer wants; probe to discern exactly what that is, then use all the tools available (they've certainly changed!) to find the person with the right culture-fit, as well as the ability and motivation to move the employer's business forward.
