A global video agency is looking for a self-driven Business Development Manager to help expand its client base of large corporates and advertising agencies in the healthcare sector.
Based at our office in West London you'll be helping to support our teams in the US and Europe to build long-term relationships with: patient groups, advertising and PR agencies, pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the MD to ensure customer acquisition and revenue targets are met and exceeded on a quarterly basis.
- Through online prospecting, as well as face to face meetings, raise the profile of the company as a global provider of video strategy and content to the healthcare community and build strong relationships with the brands.
- Build pipeline of prospects within the target market of healthcare brands
- Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that expectations are being established
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Pharma marketing trends and bring innovation and new thinking to the company
- Provide feedback to help iterate the business
Business Development Manager - Requirements:
- Proven track record of sales (preferably video or other digital services) and/or experience of working in, or selling in to agencies
- Strong professional contacts and proven business development success record required
- Capable of generating qualified leads and assessing prospect value
- Ability to establish strong client relationships and network within an organization
- Understanding of the video production business, PR/advertising, and general business knowledge
- Self-motivated, resourceful, detail oriented and well-organized with excellent written, verbal, and communication skills in English
- Experience creating sales pitches and presentations
