Description

An award-winning loyalty-marketing company working with Britain's biggest retailers and running one of Europe's largest loyalty programmes is hiring a Head of Publishers to drive relationships with existing and new Publishers.

Head of Publishers - Job Purpose and responsibilities

  • With direct control of the Publisher team maintain and develop senior relationships with existing and new Publishers, taking full ownership of deal flow and revenue targets.
  • Develop a strategy for the Publisher team and be responsible for its implementation.
  • Track new markets and emerging trends, recommend new products and services, and cross-sell and up-sell to increase profitable revenue streams
  • Develop objectives and KPIs for the business unit to measure against overall goals
  • Own the Partnerships lifecycle process post-close, including onboarding to ongoing growth and account management.
  • Develop and maintain R&D programmes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the loyalty industry and applies the most cost-effective methods and approaches.
  • Represent the Company in negotiations with clients, suppliers and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms.

Head of Publishers - Required experience and key skills

  • At least ten years senior-level experience managing people and resources
  • Experience with the customer-loyalty lifecycle and maximising customer engagement in Publisher programmes
  • Experience setting and executing an agreed strategy and a successful track record in a relationship management role supporting major companies
  • Proven experience in business negotiations and internal/external relationship management (possibly developed in sales, consulting, marketing, business development or financial services)
  • Understanding of financial and wider management principles and techniques
  • Experience in identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities and being able to drive that through with clients
  • Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills and a high level of commercial awareness.
  • Excellent deal negotiation and commercial structuring skills
  • Strong financial acumen, planning and forecasting
  • In depth knowledge of markets and changing business environments
