A fast-growing international financial conference company based in the City is looking to hire an experienced Event Sponsorship Sales Manager to sell on its innovative financial events worldwide. We're looking for at least two years direct B2B sales experience. The role has excellent professional development potential and the opportunity of international travel.
The role is:
- Sponsorship & exhibition sales manager on an international financial conference
- Managing the sale of top level sponsorship packages with major global companies (£50k+)
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing global clients
- Identifying and capitalising on new opportunities to generate revenue
- Networking with existing and prospective clients at international events
Event Sales Manager requirements:
- At least two years experience selling directly to B2B clients with a CV that demonstrates you haven't moved around excessively
- Hard working and committed with an excellent phone work ethic
- Ideally (not necessarily) some experience selling event sponsorship on large scale B2B events (exhibitions, trade shows, confex)
- Pro-active, persuasive and confident
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
