Description

We’re looking for an ambitious Digital Marketing Manager / Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own and scale our digital strategy across multiple channels – from SEO and PPC through to social, email and content.

You’ll be the driving force behind campaigns that fill high-level B2B conferences, courses, reports, roundtables and webinars – and you’ll have the autonomy to test, learn and optimise for real commercial results.

The role

You’ll lead our digital marketing efforts end-to-end:

  • Own the digital strategy
Plan and execute integrated campaigns across web, SEO/SEM, social, email and display to drive lead generation, conversions and revenue.
  • Lead on SEO & content performance
    • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies
    • Conduct keyword research and brief content/marketing teams
    • Optimise landing pages, website content and paid search copy
    • Monitor rankings, traffic, and technical SEO – and recommend fixes
  • Make paid media work harder
    • Launch, manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Monitor budgets, bids and ROI
    • Run A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion and lower CPA
  • Shape our social presence
    • Design and implement social media strategy aligned to business goals
    • Oversee content output (copy, visuals, video) across key channels
    • Engage with followers, respond to queries and support brand reputation
    • Suggest and run campaigns, promotions and competitions to grow reach and engagement
  • Data, insight & reporting
    • Track KPIs across all channels and create clear, actionable reports
    • Identify trends, opportunities and underperformance – and act on them
    • Present recommendations to the management board to drive continuous improvement
  • Leadership & collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing, sales and production to ensure campaigns hit commercial targets
    • Manage, coach and develop a Digital Marketing Executive
    • Brief and collaborate with the design team on assets and creative
    • Champion a test-and-learn, data-driven culture within the team

About you

You’re a hands-on digital marketer who is as comfortable in Google Analytics and Ads Manager as you are briefing creatives or updating stakeholders.

Essential:

  • BSc/BA in Marketing or related subject
  • Strong academic background, ideally Russell Group (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager (or similar level role) in a B2B environment
  • Deep understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing and web analytics
  • Hands-on experience setting up and optimising Google Ads campaigns
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, keyword research tools and major platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Demonstrable experience driving ROI and hitting KPIs through digital campaigns
  • Experience optimising landing pages and running A/B / multivariate tests
  • Comfortable working with website CMSs and basic HTML/CSS (enough to brief or make light edits)
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create or oversee compelling content (copy, image, video)
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders at once
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members

What you’ll get

  • An intellectually stimulating role with genuine responsibility and scope to shape strategy
  • Fast development with expert coaching and a clear path to grow your role and remit
  • Flexible / hybrid working, with WFH options
  • International travel to support and attend events
  • Pension scheme with matched contributions
  • A modern, open-plan office with well-stocked fridges (coffee, tea, snacks – and beers for regular office socials)
  • A friendly, sociable culture – join in with weekly football or netball, the fantasy football league, or fundraising for our company charity

If you’re a data-driven digital marketer who wants to make a visible impact on commercial performance – and you’re ready to step up, stretch yourself and grow – we’d love to hear from you.
