Marketing Executive - Travel

One of the UK's most trusted travel organisations with over 100 staff is looking to add a Marketing and Events Executive to its ten-strong London Marketing team.

You will be responsible for delivering multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns across conferences, seminars, training courses and regional business meetings.

Marketing Executive Duties

• Construct and deliver targeted and integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns for events using email, direct marketing, social media and advertising
• Build targeted marketing lists and event website and registration pages
• Write engaging copy and maintain a high level of proofreading
• Monitor and track Return On Investment (ROI) and campaign performance
• Identify opportunities to reach new audiences via contra deals and partnerships
• Build relationships with speakers and sponsors, using their wider networks to promote their involvement
• Attend events as required to assist with on the day management
• Keep up to date with current travel industry issues and competitor activity

Marketing Executive Requirements:

• Direct B2B marketing - at least one year of experience
• Educated to degree level and/or business or marketing qualification. Minimum 2:1
• Previous use of a CRM database (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience of constructing email and direct marketing campaigns
• Experience of social media advertising, specifically LinkedIn and Facebook and SEO
• Excellent IT skills - CRM, email, advanced Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Google Analytics, CMS, Indesign and Photoshop (desirable)
• Excellent copywriting skills and strong attention to detail
