- Do you have at least one year’s B2B Sales experience and a Russell Group 2:1 degree? A 30 year established global B2B conference business is looking to add a Sponsorship lead on one of its leading portfolios. This company has delivered excellent digital training courses, conferences, lecture series, market reports and webinars during the pandemic and it’s aiming to return to adding in-person events when it can.
Event Sponsorship Sales - Role and responsibility:
- Sponsorship lead for the portfolio, working with the Commercial Director and Head of the Event
- Handling inbound enquiries and prospecting, qualifying and preparing new business proposals
- Preparing email marketing copy; follow-up calls; Zoom meetings
- Work closely with other teams across the company
Event Sponsorship Sales – Requirements:
- Russell Group (or top 30 university) 2:1 with at least BBB at ‘A’ Level (imperative - applications without this won't be considered)
- A record of success in B2B sales (numeric detail required here), ideally gained within conference sponsorship or delegate sales
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with tenacity and determination
- Ability to build trust and able to sell in an open and honest manner
- An effective time manager ideally with Salesforce experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual at a company with well-established products thriving despite the current challenges. Essential is a 2:1 or better degree at a Russell Group or Top 30 University and also good 'A' level results; minimum BBB - please don't apply if you fail these criteria, you won't be considered.
