Description

One of the UK’s premium Wine & Spirit brands is looking for a creative self-starter with a passion for wine to support the E-Commerce Manager in coordination; production; implementation and management of all digital content for its website. You’ll be keeping the site fresh, interesting and relevant, while making sure all product pages have correct images and wine descriptions, and all information is accurate and SEO-friendly.

Although 80% of this role is website management, you will enjoy creating content including photos; videos; and blog posts, while supporting the E-Commerce Manager and the overall Marketing team in implementing successful campaigns. A good wine knowledge and e-commerce experience would therefore be particularly useful.

Digital Marketing Executive - Responsibilities

  • Website management - being the gatekeeper of the homepage, making sure it's in line with the current season and campaign.
  • Plan content creation in line with main marketing calendar, coordinate with internal teams; photograph and create relevant visuals and banners for each campaign.
  • Take photographs of new wines when neededand make sure that all wine is published with an appropriate image and a full wine description. Coordination with the Warehouse and the Buying team when required.
  • Create and publish blogs on WordPress, coordinating with the relevant text author
  • Assist with the implementation of the SEO strategy.

Digital Marketing Executive – Requirements

  • First and foremost, a passion for wine. Don't apply if the word 'wine' isn't on your CV or in your cover letter.
  • Experience in the Wine & Spirits industry/WSET qualification
  • Have a knowledge of, and keen interest in, wine. Don't apply without it.
  • Experience in digital marketing and e-commerce
  • Experience in writing and managing a blog and knowledge of SEO.
  • Photographic skills and experience in Photoshop.
  • Video editing skills and knowledge of social media marketing.
  • Knowledge of HTML would be an asset.

Digital Marketing Executive – Benefits
